2. To remove the tailgate pillar, open the tailgate and support it. Then lift the locking element with a screwdriver (2 to resist. illustrations) and pull down the rack (1) with hinge (3).
Note: If the rack is to be reused, do not completely remove the pin from the hinge, otherwise it will be damaged.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
9.2 Removing the tailgate pillar

3. Turn off the ignition.
4. Remove the trunk lid trim panel (see Part B), disconnect the electrical wiring connectors and pull the wiring out of the tailgate.
5. Unhook the cables from the rear shelf and ask an assistant to hold the tailgate open.
6. Remove gas struts (see paragraph 2), remove the hinge bolts (1 per resist. illustrations) and remove the tailgate.
9.6 Fitting the tailgate hinge

8. Remove the trunk lid trim panel and intermediate hinge trims (see Part B).
9. Separate sockets of electroconducting and extend conducting from a door of a back after its removal. The wiring harnesses are routed through the left loop.
10. Turn out bolts of intermediate loops and remove a cover of a luggage space.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Maintain gaps (see specs). Tighten the hinge fasteners with a force of 10 Nm. After installation, check the tightness of the tailgate seals: if there is a leak, move the e / motors down 1 mm and repeat the test. If necessary, replace the seals and return the e/motors to their original position.
