Removal



1. Using a suitable wrench and socket, turn the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise (arrow) as shown in the figure below.

2. Lock the accessory drive belt tensioner using a special locking pin (T10060 A), as shown in the figure below.

Caution: If the accessory drive belt is to be reused, mark its surface to indicate the direction of rotation before removing it. Otherwise, premature wear of the belt may occur.


3. Remove the accessory drive belt.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

The accessory drive belt must be installed in the following sequence:
  • 1 - crankshaft pulley;
  • 2 - tensioner roller;
  • 3 - generator pulley.

Tighten the accessory drive belt tensioner mounting bolts to a tightening torque of 20 Nm + an additional 90°.

Crankshaft pulley



Removal



1. Remove the lower insulator from the engine compartment.

2. Remove the accessory drive belt (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).

3. Using the special counter support (T10475), shown in the figure below, unscrew the bolt securing the pulley to the crankshaft (arrow).

4. Completely unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the crankshaft pulley.

Caution: Do not turn the crankshaft if the crankshaft pulley is removed.




Installation



Note:
  • Always replace the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt after disassembly.
  • Prevent oil products from getting onto the contact surfaces between the mounting bolts, the crankshaft pulley and the timing belt drive toothed pulley.


1. Install the pulley on the crankshaft, insert the mounting bolt. Lubricate the threaded portion of the mounting bolt with a very thin layer of fresh engine oil.

2. Holding the crankshaft pulley from turning using a special counter support (T10475), tighten the pulley mounting bolt with a tightening torque of 150 N·m + an additional 180°.
