2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the anchor bracket together with the brake caliper without disconnecting the brake hose, and hang them on the wire on the body, avoiding tension on the hose (see chapter 9).
4. Remove ABS wheel sensor and brake disc (see chapter 9).
5. Remove the brake shield from the steering knuckle.
6. Loosen the tie rod end nut on the steering knuckle, leaving it screwed in a few turns. Then press the tie-rod end pivot out of the steering knuckle with tool #3287A (see illustration 5.7), finally loosen the nut and separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
7. Squeeze out a power shaft from a rotary fist as far as possible in the direction of transmission.
8. Give the fasteners of the suspension strut on the steering knuckle (see resist. illustration).
6.8 Suspension strut mounting nut on the steering knuckle
9. Expand the slot in the steering knuckle by inserting and turning wedge #3424 in it (see resist. illustration).
6.9 Separation of the suspension strut from the steering knuckle
10. Give nuts (see illustration 4.5 of chapter 8), install a transmission jack under the steering knuckle, squeeze the ball joint out of the lever and separate the steering knuckle from the suspension strut.
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When tightening the hub bolt, follow the sequence described inSection 2 Chapter 8. If a new steering knuckle is installed, adjust the front wheel alignment (see Part D).
