Checking and replacing the working fluid and filter, replacing the flange shaft seals (Skoda Yeti 5L)

1. Checking the fluid level of the 6-speed DSG is done when replacing it (see Section 21 Chapter 1).

2. Replacement of the working fluid and filter of the 6-speed DSG is required every 60,000 km.

3. The filter should be replaced:

• every 60,000 km;
• after coolant gets into the DSG working fluid;
• when metal particles are detected in the DSG working fluid;
• after the clutch burns out or has a mechanical failure.

4. No filter replacement required:

• if oil did not get into the DSG working fluid when replacing the radiator;
• after replacing the selector shaft seal or the differential output shaft seals;
• after replacing the leaking block cover "Mechatronic", clutch or oil pump;
• after replacing sensors "G182" and "G509".

5. Replacement of flange shaft seals is carried out with the same features as described for DSG "0AM" in Section 9.
