Cleaning the Throttle Module Assembly

Note:
  • Observe safety precautions when working on the power supply system. If a new engine control unit J623 is installed, the throttle control mechanism must be adapted. The adjustment can only be carried out with a new or cleaned throttle control mechanism, since carbon contamination in the areas where the closed throttle valve meets the fitting can lead to distorted adjustment values.
  • Be extremely careful when cleaning to avoid scratching the throttle bore.
