Removal
1. Disconnect the air hoses from the air intake pipe.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
3. Loosen the mounting clamps (arrows) and remove the air duct shown in the figure below.

4. Unlock the clamps (arrows) using the special tool (T10527) and remove the air delivery pipe as shown in the figure below.

5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (3) shown in the figure below.
6. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows) and remove the throttle module (1) together with the adapter (2), as shown in the figure below.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
After replacing the throttle valve, it is necessary to initialize it using special scanning equipment.

Cleaning the Throttle Module Assembly
Note:
- Observe safety precautions when working on the power supply system. If a new engine control unit J623 is installed, the throttle control mechanism must be adapted. The adjustment can only be carried out with a new or cleaned throttle control mechanism, since carbon contamination in the areas where the closed throttle valve meets the fitting can lead to distorted adjustment values.
- Be extremely careful when cleaning to avoid scratching the throttle bore.
(Article published on the website: SkodaBook.ru)
1. Remove the throttle body module assembly (see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Open the throttle valve with your hand and lock it in the open position with a suitable object (for example, with a plastic or wooden wedge) (arrow) as shown in the figure below.
Caution: Acetone is flammable. Observe safety regulations and safety instructions for handling flammable liquids. Do not use compressed air to clean the throttle valve. To avoid injury and skin contact with fuel, wear safety glasses and protective clothing.

3. Using regular acetone and a brush, thoroughly clean the throttle valve opening, especially in the area where the throttle valve meets the walls (arrows).
4. Wipe the cleaned surface of the throttle valve with a clean, lint-free cloth
5. Allow the acetone to dry completely and reinstall the cleaned throttle module.
