Removal
Note: When installing, all thermal insulation material must be installed in its original position.
Attention:
- When the engine is warmed up to normal operating temperature, the coolant is under excess pressure.
- Before starting any work, it is necessary to relieve excess pressure by opening the expansion tank cap, wrapping it with a rag first.
1. Open the cap (arrow) of the expansion tank, shown in the figure below.
2. Remove the soundproofing coating.
3. Release the wiring harnesses (1) and (2) from the clips on the air duct pipe, as shown in the figure below.
4. Release the fastening clamp (3) shown in the figure below.
5. Unscrew the fastening screws (arrows) and remove the air duct pipe downwards.
6. Loosen the clamp (arrow) shown in the figure below and disconnect the air hose (1) from the charge air cooler.
7. Remove the thermal insulation cover (3) shown in the figure below.
8. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) shown in the figure below.

Note: Place a rag under the coolant recirculation pump water hoses.
9. Loosen the mounting clamps (arrows) and disconnect the water hoses from the coolant recirculation pump.
10. Unscrew the mounting screw (2) and remove the coolant recirculation pump, as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Check the coolant level in the cooling system.
