Removal
1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. If equipped, remove the driver side knee airbag module (1) as shown in the illustration below.

3. Unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the footwell ventilation duct (1) from the driver's side, as shown in the figure below (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter "Ventilation, heating and air conditioning system").

4. Disconnect from the bracket and remove the universal diagnostic connector (1), shown in the figure below.

5. Unscrew the mounting bolt (2) and detach the deformable strut (1), as shown in the figure below. Then move the stand to the side.

6. Compress the clamps (arrows) and remove the axial connecting bolt (1) of the clutch release master cylinder rod, as shown in the figure below.

7. Raise the clutch release pedal in the direction of the arrow, then disconnect the booster spring (1) from the pedal, as shown in the figure below.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
1. Connect the clutch release pedal master cylinder rod to the clutch release pedal.
2. Install the deformable stand (1) and tighten its mounting bolt (2) to the required tightening torque, as shown in the figure below.

3. Install the universal diagnostic connector onto the mounting bracket.
4. Install the air duct for the footwell of the ventilation system on the driver's side (for more details, see the corresponding section in the chapter "Ventilation, heating and air conditioning system").
5. Install the driver's side knee airbag module (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter "Passive safety").
6. Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
