Installing a long pin with a spring (without a groove around the perimeter) (Skoda Kodiaq NS7)

• Align the hole in the satellite axle with the hole in the differential housing.
• Hammer in the new pin and spring to dimension "a" = 3.0 mm. Be careful not to allow the pin and spring to come into contact with the gearbox while the differential housing is installed.

Note: The spherical bearing of some gearboxes was provided with projections (A) in the area of the holes.

These projections enter into a fixed position in the peripheral groove (B) of the differential box.

• Install the spherical bearing, pre-lubricated with transmission oil.
• Install the spherical bearing so that the projections enter the fixed position in the circumferential groove (B) of the differential housing.
