Replacing the front body wall (Skoda Octavia 1U)

Caution: There is no need to disconnect the engine coolant circuit from the air conditioner cooling circuit if the radiator and condenser are properly secured to the engine.

Disassembly

1. Remove the bumper.

2. Remove the front headlight.



3. Unscrew fastening screws 2 and 3 of the front wall of the body 1.



4. Unscrew the screws 1 of the radiator mounting bracket 3 and secure the radiator 4 to the engine in a suitable manner. Remove the front body wall module 2 in the forward direction.

5. Remove the remaining installed parts of the front wall.

Assembly

Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of actions.
