Oil changes should be made, if possible, when the engine is at operating temperature.

1. Remove the oil filler plug.

2. For vehicles with a damping plate on the underbody, the plate must be removed.

3. Unscrew the threaded plug of the oil drain hole and drain the leaking oil into a previously prepared container.

Attention! It is absolutely necessary to comply with the relevant standards and regulations for oil management and disposal of waste oils.

4. After cleaning the threaded plug of the oil drain port, install a new O-ring and tighten with the appropriate tightening torque applied: engine sump pan made of sheet steel: 30 Nm aluminum crankcase pan: 40 Nm.

5. Replace the oil filler plug.

6. Start the engine and check for oil leaks anywhere.

7. For vehicles with a damping plate on the underbody, it must be installed.

8. Check the oil level again and top up if necessary.

9. After adding oil, wait 3 minutes and then check the oil level.

Attention! In order to prevent the exhaust gas catalytic converter from becoming unusable, the oil level must not exceed the control mark "a".

10. Check the engine oil level again and top up if necessary.

Oil filling volumes

Together with changing the oil filter:
  • 3.5 l (55 kW engine.);
  • 4.7 l (92 kW engine.);
  • 4.5 l (66 kW engine.).
