Cylinder Head Cover — General Information (Skoda Octavia 1U)

This is an aluminum alloy casting. A seal is inserted into a groove along the contour of the cylinder head bearing surface. In the upper surface of the cover there is a neck for filling the engine oil, closed with a plastic plug with a bayonet lock. The cover is reinforced with three shaped bolts, sealed in the holes with rubber gaskets.
