Note: When removing the heating and air conditioning module, the brackets are not removed.
Remove the heater and air conditioning module. Lift the bracket and disconnect connector "1". Move aside the heat shield "2" behind the ABS module. Unscrew nuts "3" and "5". Remove bracket "4" in the passenger compartment.
Note: If access to the nuts through the ABS module is difficult, the coolant pipe with internal heat exchanger will need to be removed.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. Insert brackets "1" and "3" into the mount on the heater and air conditioning module "2" and install the module with brackets.
After installing the heater module, tighten nuts "3" and "5" (4.5 Nm).
