Tie rod ends can be replaced without removing the tie rods and steering gear. Raise the car. Remove the front wheel. Loosen the tie rod end nut a few turns, but do not remove it.
Note: To protect the threads, leave the nut threaded onto the top few threads of the tie rod end pin.
Using the ball joint puller "3287A", press the ball joint/steering tip pin out of the steering knuckle. Unscrew the ball joint/steering tip nut. Press the steering tip out of the steering knuckle. Unscrew the hex nut(lock nut) "2". Unscrew the tip "3" from the steering rod "1". For clarity, the surrounding parts are not shown in the figures.
Installation
Caution! Pay attention to the different designs of steering rod ends. Electronic catalog of original parts. When installing, take into account the mark on the rod of the tip "arrow".

Degrease the conical surface of the tip pin. Screw the tip onto the steering rod until it stops. Tighten the hex nut (lock nut). Orient the steering rod so that the ball joint pin of the tip takes its installation position. Insert the tip pin into the steering knuckle and tighten the new hex nut. If the pin rotates when tightening the nut, hold it with a hex key. Install the front wheel. Lower the car. Check the wheel alignment angles. Perform a test drive.
Caution! If the steering wheel is turned after a test drive in a straight-ahead direction, the front wheel alignment must be adjusted.
