Note: To protect the thread, leave the nut screwed onto the top few threads of the steering knuckle pin.
Using ball joint extractor -3287A-, press ball joint/steering pin out of steering knuckle. Loosen the ball joint/steering head nut. Press the steering knuckle out of the steering knuckle. Loosen the hex nut (locknut) -2-. Unscrew end cap -3- from tie rod -1-. For clarity, the figures do not show the surrounding details.
Installation
Carefully! Pay attention to different designs of tie rod ends. Electronic catalog of original parts. When installing, pay attention to the mark on the end cap -arrow-.

Degrease the conical surface of the tip pin. Screw the tip onto the tie rod until it stops. Tighten the hex nut (locknut). Orient the tie rod in such a way that the ball joint pin of the end piece is in its installation position. Insert the tip pin into the steering knuckle and tighten the new hex nut. If the pin will rotate when the nut is tightened, it should be held with a hex wrench. Install the front wheel. Lower a / m. Check wheel alignment. Carry out a test drive.
Carefully! If the steering wheel is turned after a test drive in a straight-line direction of travel, the front wheel alignment must be adjusted.
