1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Unlock the quick connectors and disconnect the fuel hoses (1) and (2) shown in the figure below.

6. For models with a fuel filter water level sensor: Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the fuel filter water level sensor (1) as shown in the figure below.



7. Move the fuel filter assembly to the side.

If the fuel filter is removed for disassembly purposes

8. Unscrew the fastening screws (1...5) (arrows) in the sequence shown in the figure below.

9. Collect all leaking fuel in a pre-prepared container.

10. Remove the upper part (1) from the fuel filter housing (2) as shown in the figure below.
