Carefully! The system can detect a valid key even if it is forgotten in the front of the overhead console D - risk of losing or damaging the key! Therefore, it is necessary to always know where the key to the car is located. It is allowed to turn on the starter only when the engine is not running on a stationary vehicle. If the starter is engaged while the engine is running, the starter and/or engine may be damaged. Do not start the engine by towing the vehicle - risk of damage to the engine and catalytic converter! The battery of another vehicle can be used as a starting aid. Until the engine is warmed up to operating temperature, avoid high speeds, do not press the gas pedal all the way down and do not overload the engine - this can damage it! After a long trip with a high load, you can not immediately turn off the engine - let it idle for about a minute more. Before switching off, the hot engine must cool down a little.
Note: When the ignition is on, the vehicle cannot be locked. The KESSY system is equipped with protection against unwanted engine shutdown while driving, i.e. while driving, the engine can only be switched off in an emergency. After the ignition is turned off, the radiator fan may run (including breaks) about 10 more minutes. In some cases (e.g. after switching off the ignition and opening the driver's door) steering is unlocked only after the ignition is switched on or the engine is started.
