Removal and installation valve timing control valves «N205» / «N318» (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Disconnect connector "1" from valve 1 of the exhaust valve timing adjuster "N318" "2" and connector "3" from valve 1 of the valve timing regulator "N₂05" "4". Unscrew the "arrow" screws and remove valve 1 of the valve timing regulator "N₂05" and valve 1 of the exhaust valve timing regulator "N318".

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: Replace O-rings and sealing rings.

Lubricate the mating surfaces of the sealing rings on the side of valve 1 of the valve timing adjuster "N₂05" and valve 1 of the exhaust valve timing adjuster "N318" with engine oil.
