Timing chain casing parts and assemblies (Skoda Octavia 5E)

1. 4 Nm and turn further by 45° (1/8 turn)

2. Valve 1 of the exhaust valve timing adjuster "N318" and valve 1 of the valve timing adjuster "N₂05"

3. Lip seals: replace

4. Upper timing chain cover

5. Gasket: replace if damaged

6. Oil filler cap

7. Bolt

8. Gasket: Replace if damaged

9. O-ring: replace; moisten with oil before installation

10. Front coolant pipe

11. Engine

12. Landing pins; for centering the lower timing chain cover

13. Lower timing chain cover: with lip seal; replace

14. Lip seal: crankshaft poly V-belt pulley; replace

15. Plug: replace

16. Bolt: replace

17. O-ring: replace; moisten with oil before installation
