Using the "T10355" stop, turn the crankshaft poly V-belt pulley to the "TDC" position. The "1" marks on the camshaft sprockets should be located opposite the -2 and 3- marks on the cylinder head. Remove the lower timing chain cover.

Screw in and tighten the "arrow" screws. Push on the bearing cover and tighten the "arrow" screws by hand. Remove the "T40267" lock. Tighten the "arrow" screws of the bearing cover. Install the regulator valves "pos. 6".

Installation in reverse order. Install the lower timing chain cover. Install the upper timing chain cover. Adapt the chain lengths as follows. Switch on the ignition and select the tester. Press the following buttons on the display in turn: 01 - Engine electronics, 01 - Guided functions, 01 - Basic setting, 01 - Adaptation after work on the chain drive.
