Removal and installation the shift handle with gear shift boot (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Place the release tool "T30098" in the middle between the decorative frame and the gearshift lever boot "arrow 1". Carefully press the gearshift lever boot away from the center console using the release tool "T30098" -arrow 2-. Fold the boot upwards over the gearshift handle.



Open the clamp "see arrow" and remove the shift handle together with the cover.

Installation

To install in reverse order, press the shift handle together with the boot until it stops against the gear shift lever.

Note: When installed on the gearshift lever, the gearshift handle must engage in the circular groove of the lever.

Secure the shift handle with a new "arrow" clamp to the gear shift lever using clamp pliers.
