Installation position of the shift lever/intermediate lever
1. Shift lever with damping counterweight.
2. The intermediate lever enters over the slider - see. arrow - into the guide rail of the gear lever.

Wrap the bandage - see. arrow-cross around the drive cables and secure as shown.

Removal and installation of the blocking lever made of plastic
Pull the locking mechanism forward as far as it will go in -direction of arrow 1- and then lock it to the left in -direction of arrow 2-. To prevent damage to the gear selection cable, it is necessary to separate the drive cable lock from the gear selection cable before removal. The shift lever is in the neutral position.
The intermediate lever is fixed with a lock - see. arrow 1- in the gearbox cover
Carefully press the latch - see. arrow 1- to the stop. Then move the intermediate lever in its support in one direction and the other (in the direction of management). At the same time, carefully remove the intermediate lever together with the drive cable lock - see. arrow 2-. Drive cable arrester - see Arrow 2- Remove only when intermediate lever is removed.
Note: Lubricate bearings and sliding surfaces with grease -G 000 450 02- for installation.
Press the drive cable retainer onto the intermediate lever. Install the intermediate lever together with the drive cable retainer. Locking lug - see arrow 1- fixes the intermediate lever. The drive cable arrester must be behind the lock - see. arrow 2-.

Pull clip -arrow 1- out of hole in intermediate lever. After that, pull the intermediate lever together with the cable arrester from its seat on the gearbox cover. Remove the drive cable arrester only when the intermediate lever is dismantled.
Note: Lubricate bearings and sliding surfaces with grease -G 000 450 02- for installation.
Press the drive cable retainer onto the intermediate lever. Install the intermediate lever together with the drive cable retainer. Secure intermediate lever with clip -A-.
Remove the gear selector cable retainer from the plastic intermediate lever
Intermediate lever removed. Insert slotted screwdriver -A- between bushing -B- and intermediate lever.
Press on the drive cable lock. Intermediate lever removed. The drive cable arrester can only be pressed onto the sleeve - see fig. arrow-. The drive cable arrester must move easily relative to the intermediate lever. It should be behind the locking ledge.
