Removal
1. Remove the lock cylinder (if the door is the driver's door) or the pen cover (if the door is a passenger door) (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Move the door opening handle (1) carefully towards the rear of the vehicle (arrow a) to detach it from the mounting bracket support, as shown in the figure below.
3. Pull the door opening handle outward (in the direction of arrow b), as shown in the figure below.
4. Remove the door opening handle from the mounting bracket (2) by pulling it in the direction of arrow "c" as shown in the figure below.

Installation
1. Install the door opening handle (1) into the mounting bracket, at an angle in the direction of arrow "a", as shown in the figure below.
2. Turn and move the handle (1) in the direction of arrow "b" as shown in the figure below.
3. Apply force and move the handle towards the front of the door (arrow c) to lock it into the mounting bracket support as shown in the figure below.
4. Install the door lock cylinder (if the door is the driver's door) or door handle cover (if the door is a passenger door).
