Note.
- Thanks to the automatic adjustment of the clearance in the rear wheel brake mechanism, there is no need to adjust the hand lever for engaging the parking brake system during operation.
- A new adjustment should only be made if the parking brake cable, brake cable, or brake pads, brake shoes or brake drum have been replaced.
1. Remove storage shelf and armrest.
2. Unlock the parking brake lever (the parking brake lever is in the neutral position).
3. Press the brake pedal several times with your foot.
4. Tighten and release the parking brake lever three times. As a result, the parts will sit properly in their position.
5. Move the parking brake lever 1 tooth (after releasing).
6. Tighten the adjusting nut (arrow) to such an extent that both wheels turn only with difficulty when turned by hand.
7. Adjusting nut (arrow A) must be screwed through the end of the rod (self-locking effect).
8. After releasing the lever for engaging the parking brake system, check whether both wheels rotate freely, if necessary, slightly loosen the adjusting nut.
9. Move the parking brake lever 4 teeth (after releasing). It is impossible for any of the wheels to still turn; tighten the adjusting nut if necessary.
10. Having released the lever of inclusion of parking brake system, to check up, whether both wheels rotate freely. If necessary, loosen the adjusting nut slightly.
11. Move the parking brake lever 1 tooth, then release it. The lever for engaging the parking brake system should spontaneously return to the free position under half 1 tooth.
12. Install storage shelf and armrest.
