The parking brake is engaged by firmly pulling the lever located in the space between the front seats. When parking the car on a slope, in addition to the parking brake, first/reverse gear should also be disengaged.

When the ignition is turned on with the parking brake engaged, the corresponding indicator lamp installed in the instrument panel comes on.

To release the parking brake, pull the lever up and press the button built into the handle. The lever can now be freely lowered to the lower position.
