Removal
1. Before removing the wiper arm, make sure the motor is in the "parked" position. To check, turn the wipers on and then off - the motor should automatically return the wipers to the "parked" position. Attach a piece of tape to the glass near the blade to make it easier to adjust the position of the arm when installing.
Front windshield wiper
2. Move the lever completely away from the glass, remove the brush if necessary (Section 1).
3. Remove the cap covering the nut that secures the windshield wiper to the spindle (photo).

4. Unscrew the nut securing the windshield wiper to the spindle and remove the arm from the axle (photo). If necessary, use a wide screwdriver.

5. Clean the grooves of the lever and axle.
Rear wiper
6. Move the lever completely away from the glass: remove the wiper blade if necessary (Section 1).
7. Remove the lever from the axle slots (photo). If necessary, use a wide screwdriver.

8. Clean the grooves of the lever and axle.
Installation
9. Install in the reverse order of removal: use the adhesive tape to adjust the position of the lever on the glass.
