Seat backs and cushions can be equipped with electric heating elements.
By pressing the knob with the symbol, you can switch on and adjust the heating power for the driver's and front passenger's seats.
By pressing you turn on the heating at maximum power - stage 3, indicated by the glow of three control lamps in the switch. Pressing the switch again reduces the heating power until it turns off. The heating power is displayed by the number of illuminated control lamps in the switch.
Attention. If you or one of the passengers has reduced sensitivity to temperature or to pain, for example due to medication, paralysis or chronic illness (e.g. diabetes), then we recommend that such people completely abandon the use of heated seats. Otherwise, it can lead to severely healed burns of the back, buttocks and thighs. If you still intend to use the heated seats, we recommend that you make regular stops on long trips so that the body can rest from the load. To assess your condition, contact your doctor.
Attention.
- To prevent damage to the heating elements in the seats, do not kneel or otherwise apply point loads on the seats.
- If the seat is not occupied by the driver or passenger, or is occupied by an object fixed or simply lying on it (e.g. child seat, bag, etc.), do not turn on the heating of this seat. The heating element may be defective.
- Do not wet clean seats.
Note.
- The seat heating can only be used when the engine is running. In this case, a deep discharge of the battery will not occur.
- If the on-board voltage drops, the seat heating is automatically switched off to provide sufficient power to the engine management.
