Front seats
It is extremely important from the point of view of driving safety that the driver's seat is correctly adjusted, providing free and quick access to all vehicle controls, maximum comfort of the driver's posture and optimal conditions for the most efficient functioning of the seat belt.
Attention! The front seats should not be installed too close to the steering wheel or instrument panel.
The driver's and front passenger's feet must be in the appropriate footwell and never on the instrument panel or seat cushion.
Fore and aft seat adjustment
Pulling up on the regulator lock (1), move the seat to the desired position. After releasing the bracket, achieve a clear actuation of the latch in the new selected seat position.
The driver's seat must be installed in such a way that the driver can freely manipulate the pedals with only slight bending of the legs.
Attention! Never adjust the seat position while the vehicle is moving.
Backrest tilt adjustment
The inclination of the backrest of the front seat is adjusted by turning the handle located at the bottom on the outer side of the backrest (2). When adjusting the backrest, do not lean on it.
The back of the driver's seat should be tilted so that the driver can easily reach the top of the steering wheel with slightly bent arms.
Attention! Excessive reclining of the seatbacks will reduce the effectiveness of the seat belts.
Rear seats
The volume of the luggage compartment can be increased by folding forward or removing the rear seat of the car.
Note. On models with split rear seats, the seats can be folded individually.
Before folding the rear seat, adjust the front seats accordingly.
By pulling the release lever, release the backrest latches (And) rear seat and tilt them slightly forward. Remove the head restraints, remove the seat belt buckles and fully lower the backrest (And), then tip the back cushion assembly forward.
When assembling the seat, the cushion assembly with the back laid on it first returns to its original position. Then fold the backrest back until the latch engages (check that the backrest is secure by pulling it forward).
Note. Be sure to insert the lap section and the seat belt buckles into the gap between the cushion and the seatback beforehand. Make sure that the inertia-type belts are not pinched by the seatback latches.
If necessary, the rear seat can be completely removed from the car. Tilt the seat back forward, grasp its lower part and tip it over so that it is possible to release the seat assembly from the support mounts. Installation is in the reverse order.
Attention! Make sure that the seat is correctly positioned in the support mounts and that the backrest is securely fixed.
Seat head restraints
It is possible to adjust the height of the head restraints. The headrest must be strictly adjusted to the mandatory height of the driver / passenger. Properly installed head restraints in combination with seat belts provide reliable protection for the safety of occupants.
To adjust the position of the head restraint, grab it with both hands and pull it up or push it down to the desired installation height. Ideally, the top edge of the head restraint should be at eye level of the seated person.
Removal and installation of head restraints is carried out by releasing the latches of their locks. After depressing the lever for controlling the position of the latch, pull the headrest out of the guide slots in the seatback.
When installing the head restraint, make sure that the latch lock unambiguously works (you should hear a distinct click).
Rear shelf
Only small items can be stowed on the rear shelf that covers the luggage compartment. In no case do not put on the shelf items that can injure the driver or passenger during sudden braking of the car, or break the integrity of the threads of the working element of the rear window heater.
The rear side of the shelf is attached to the tailgate with cords, and therefore the shelf rises simultaneously with the door, providing unhindered access to the car's luggage compartment.
To remove the shelf, release the cord loops from the latches on the inside of the tailgate, then pull the cover out of the front loop-type latches. Installation is in the reverse order.
