Note.
- Necessary devices, special control and measuring instruments, as well as auxiliary means:
- Cleaning and degreasing agent, eg. "D 009 401 04".
- Protective glasses and gloves.
Attention: When working with the degreasing agent, use protective gloves and glasses!
1. Degrease all fuel connections.
2. Leave the engine running for several minutes at idle speed.
3. After turning off the engine, a visual check of the tightness of the entire fuel system should be carried out.
In case of leakage despite correct tightening torque:
4. Replace the relevant part and repeat the test.

If no leak is detected:
5. Perform a test run with at least one acceleration at full throttle up to maximum RPM.
6. Subsequently, a visual inspection of the tightness of the entire power supply system should be carried out again.
In case of leakage despite correct tightening torque:
7. Replace the relevant part and repeat the test.
If no leak is detected:
8. Read the engine control unit fault memory and, if necessary, reset the memory contents.
9. After clearing the fault memory of the engine control unit, it is necessary to check and, if necessary, create a new readiness code.
