Note. Before proceeding with the assembly work, it is necessary to pay attention to safety measures.
Note. The Geflon O-ring on the fuel injector must be replaced after each removal of the fuel injector.
Note.
- Necessary special devices, control and measuring devices, as well as auxiliary means:
- Tool kit -T10133-.
Removing
1. Remove intake manifold.
2. Remove the lower part of the intake manifold.
3. By pressing the O-ring upwards with your hand as shown, remove it from the fuel injector.
4. Screw striker -T10133/3- onto puller -T10133/15-.
5. Insert the puller -T10133/15- into the groove (arrow) on the fuel injector as shown in the figure below.
6. With gentle blows, the fuel injector should be pulled out, as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. Thoroughly clean the holes for the fuel injectors in the cylinder head with a nylon brush -T10133/4-.
2. Check the plastic support ring for damage; replace it if necessary.
3. After each removal of the fuel injectors, the elastic part should be replaced (arrow) and a Teflon O-ring as shown in the figure below.
4. Replace the O-rings between the fuel injector and the bottom of the intake manifold and lubricate them with a thin film of fresh engine oil.
Note. The fuel injector Teflon seal must not be lubricated with oil or grease.
5. Press the fuel injector by hand into the hole in the cylinder head until it stops.
Note. The fuel injector should be easy to install, if necessary, you should still wait for the sealing ring to shrink.
6. Observe the correct installation and the correct position for assembling the fuel injectors in the cylinder head.
7. Putting the lower part of the intake manifold carefully on the fuel injectors, tighten the fixing screws with a tightening torque of 20 Nm.
8. Install intake pipe.
