Removing
1. Remove the lower covers of the engine compartment (arrows).
2. Drain engine oil.
3. To turn out screws of fastening of the oil pallet.
4. Separate the oil pan: if necessary, loosen it by lightly tapping it with a rubber mallet.
5. Remove seal residues on cylinder block and oil pan with seal remover.
Attention. Protective gloves and goggles should be used when handling the seal remover and degreaser.
6. Degrease the sealing surfaces of the cylinder block and oil pan.
Installation
Note. The oil pan must be installed within 5 minutes of applying the silicone sealant.
1. Cut off the pointed tip of the tube at the front mark with scissors (∅ - 3 mm).
2. Apply silicone sealant (A) as shown on the clean sealing surface of the oil pan. Sealing agent layer thickness: 2.4 mm
Note. The thickness of the sealing agent layer must not exceed 4 mm, otherwise the excess sealing agent will enter the oil pan and may clog the oil pump screen.
3. Install the oil pan immediately and lightly tighten all screws.
4. Tighten the screws in the sequence shown. Tightening torque: 9 Nm.
Note. After installing the oil pan, the sealing agent must dry for at least 30 minutes. Only then can the engine oil be refilled.
5. The rest of the installation is carried out in reverse order.
