Removal



1. Remove the fixing bolt "T10414".

2. Place the cylinder head cover on the workbench as shown in the figure below.

3. Remove the bearing frame mounting screws in sequence from "A" to "J" as shown in the figure below.

4. Remove the bearing frame assembly.

5. Remove the camshaft (1) from the cylinder head (2) as shown in the figure below.

Installation



Note: Before installation, lightly lubricate the camshaft and camshaft bearings with engine oil.


1. Install the camshaft (1) into the cylinder head cover (2) as shown in the figure below.

2. Install the lock bolt "T10414" into the splines of the camshaft and tighten by hand.

3. Place the bearing frame on the camshaft installation locations. The bearing frame is guided into the correct position using the centering pins (arrows), as shown in the figure below.

4. Tighten the mounting screws in the given sequence from "A" to "J" applying a tightening torque of 8 Nm.

5. Install the cylinder head cover assembly.
