Drain
1. Place a trap pan under the gearbox.
2. Remove the ATF control screw (A).
Attention. Wear protective goggles.
3. Disconnect the bypass pipe (WITH) (hex socket wrench 5 mm), allow the ATF to run out.
4. Install bypass pipe (WITH) with a 5 mm Allen wrench and tighten to the correct torque.
Refueling
1. Screw in the quick coupling (VAS 6262/2) instead of a screw plug for checking the gearbox (arrow 1), attach adapter for oil filling (VAS 6262).
2. Pour in 4 liters of ATF.
3. Remove the oil charge adapter (VAS 62620) with quick coupling (VAS 6262/2).
4. Disconnect the quick coupling (VAS 6262/2).
5. Tighten the ATF control screw by hand.
6. Start the engine.
7. Turn on with the brake pedal depressed and in idle mode gradually all positions "R", "R", "N", "D", "S", and each of the positions must be included for at least 10 s.
8. Move the preselector lever to position "R".
9. Turn off the ignition.
10. Check the ATF level and top up with ATF if necessary.
