2. Do not loosen both the left and right flange shaft mounting bolts at the same time, as it will be difficult to install the bolts if the differential gears are turned.
3. To replace the seals, it is necessary to remove the corresponding flange shaft (see accompanying illustration), having first separated the drive shaft from it. The flange shaft can be held from turning by the opposite wheel or by a lever inserted between two bolts screwed into the flange.

4. Use a suitable hook to remove the oil seal and a suitable mandrel to press it in. Before installing, lightly lubricate the outer surface of the oil seal with transmission oil and fill the inner groove of the oil seal halfway with G052 128 grease. Press the oil seals in until they stop, without twisting them.
5. Use a new cone bolt to secure the flange shaft.
