Lubrication of locks and hinges (Skoda Felicia)

1. Moving along the sides of the car, lubricate the hinges of all doors and the hood with liquid machine oil (don't forget about the tailgate hinges). Also lubricate the latches, mechanisms and strikers of the door locks.

2. Apply a small amount of grease to the hood latch release mechanism and the exposed portion of the drive cable.

3. Check the reliability of the fastening and the proper functioning of all hinges, locks and latches. If necessary, make the required adjustments (see Chapter Body and interior trim). Check the proper operation of the single lock actuators.

4. Check the condition of the hydraulic stops of the tailgate. If any of the stops show signs of leakage, replace them in pairs.
