Removal and installation the mirror assembly
Removal
1. Remove the front door trim panel (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Disconnect the connector (4) of the wiring harness (3) of the mirror adjustment switch (1).
3. Unscrew the fastening screw (2) shown in the figure below.
4. Disconnect from the door frame (2) and remove the rear view mirror (1) assembly as shown in the figure below.
5. Pull the wiring harness through the hole (3) in the door as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. Route the wiring harness through the hole in the door.
2. Install the mirror housing assembly onto the door frame assembly.
3. Install and tighten the mirror mounting screw to a tightening torque of 12 Nm.
4. Connect the mirror control wiring harness connector.
