Removal
1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
3. Unscrew the mounting bolts (2) shown in the figure below
4. Disconnect the Bowden cable from the mounting bracket.

5. Pull and remove the hood lock upwards (1) as shown in the figure below.
Note:
- The connector is fixed on the right headlight.
- The mounting bolt (3) is self-locking and must be replaced after unscrewing with a new bolt.
Installation
1. Insert the lock (1) into the housing.
2. Install the Bowden cable into the mounting bracket.
3. Screw in the new mounting bolts (2) with a tightening torque of 12 Nm, as shown in the figure above.
4. Connect the wiring harness connector
5. Before closing the hood, check the functionality of the hood lock.
