Central pillar trim panel (upper part) — removal and installation (Skoda Kodiaq NS7)

Removal

1. Remove the plug (3) for the mounting screw from the top of the center pillar trim panel, as shown in the figure below.

2. Unscrew the fastening screw (2). Tightening torque during installation: 1.5 N·m.

4. Disconnect the trim panel (4) from the clips (6) and (7).

5. Remove the upper part of the center pillar trim panel (4) as shown in the figure below.

4. Move the trim panel (4) upwards to release it from the supports.



5. Remove the front seat belt anchor bolt (1) shown in the figure below. Installation tightening torque: 40 Nm.

6. Thread the seat belt through the hole in the trim panel.

7. Remove the center pillar trim panel assembly.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: Before installing the trim panel, check all fastening elements and replace them with new ones if necessary.

Note: After installing the trim panel onto the pillar, check to ensure that the trim panel is securely fastened to the rear door and tailgate seals.
