Removal



1. Remove the upper decorative engine cover assembly.

2. Remove the air filter housing assembly (for more details, see the corresponding section in the chapter "Intake and exhaust system").

3. Unscrew the fastening screws on the left and right sides (arrow) shown in the figure below.

4. Unlock and remove the lower part (1) of the air intake, as shown in the figure below.

7. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows) shown in the figure below.



8. Loosen the mounting clamps (1) and (4) using the special tool (MP 602), as shown in the figure below.

Note: Place a rag under the cooling system hoses to collect any leaking coolant.


9. Loosen the mounting clamps (2) and (3), then disconnect and remove the water hoses shown in the figure below.

10. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows) shown in the figure below.

11. Loosen the mounting clamps (1) and (5) using the special tool (MP 602), as shown in the figure below.

  • intake air temperature sensor wiring harness connector (2);
  • throttle body module wiring harness connector (3).

15. Loosen the fastening clamp (4), then remove the air hose shown in the figure below.

16. Remove the mounting screws (1) shown in the figure below, then remove the throttle module assembly.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Note: O-rings must always be replaced after disassembly.


1. When installing the adapter on the throttle body, pay attention to the mounting pins.
