Removal
1. Remove the oil pan assembly (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
Caution: Be extremely careful not to damage the timing belt.
2. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows) shown in the figure below, then remove the oil pump assembly (1).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note:
- Always replace the gaskets after disassembly.
- Check and, if necessary, install the dowel pins (arrows) shown in the figure below into the oil pump housing.
- Install the oil pan assembly (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
