Removal
1. Remove the soundproofing coating.
2. Remove the front right wheel arch liner (for more details, see the corresponding section in the chapter "Body").
3. Remove the soundproofing covering from the oil pan.
4. Drain the engine oil.
5. Unscrew the mounting screws in order from 1 to 20, as shown in the figure below.

6. Insert a special knife T10383/2 between the lower part of the crankcase and the upper part in the place shown in the figure below (arrow).
7. Using a plastic hammer, strike the end of the special tool, cutting through the sealant of the lower part of the crankcase.
8. Disconnect and remove the lower part of the crankcase assembly.
Installation
1. Check the geometric parameters of the lower part of the cylinder block crankcase.
2. Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces from old sealant and dirt.
3. Wash, degrease and dry the mating surfaces.
4. Cut off the tip of the tube of sealant to create a hole with a diameter of 2 mm.
5. Apply a special sealant to the mating surface of the lower part of the cylinder block crankcase, as shown in the figure below (1). If necessary, use a special dispensing gun. The diameter of the sealant bead should not be more or less than 2 mm.

6. Install the lower part of the crankcase onto the block within 5 minutes after applying the sealant.
7. Install the crankcase on the cylinder block.
8. Allow the sealant to dry for 30 minutes.
9. Fill the engine with fresh engine oil.
