Transfer of switching movements (choosing and including) flexible rods (gearbox 02J)
The diagram of the transmission of force and movement between the shift console and the gearbox shifting device is shown in the figure. The movement of the shift lever is distributed over two elastic rods laid in flexible hoses. The rod with a hole for a horizontally oriented finger serves the selection, while the rod with a hole for a vertical finger serves the engagement of the gear.
The gearshift lever housing is also located on the central side member of the body, along which both flexible cables are also carried. The installation of elastic cables allows the gearbox to oscillate during operation, and the gearshift device on the gearbox is simpler than when switching with a strong rod.
