2. Locate the connection point of the cable to the clutch lever, which is located on the side of the clutch housing near the gearbox. To adjust the cable, turn the nut on the threaded part until you reach the specified pedal height; when you turn the nut clockwise, the pedal will rise (photo).

3. Check that the clutch pedal moves smoothly and freely throughout its travel and that the clutch operates properly without slipping or dragging. If excessive force is required to operate the clutch, check that the cable is routed correctly and is not damaged, then remove the pedal and lubricate the pivot shaft; if the cable is worn or damaged, replace it (Section 6).
