Cars with interior security system
Remove the motion sensor and the vehicle tilt sensor (depending on the vehicle configuration).
All cars
Remove the front interior light. Disconnect the storage compartment on the ceiling. Loosen the storage compartment frame screws (1.5 Nm). Disconnect the storage compartment frame. Disconnect the ceiling panel "1" at the rear and unlock the lock "2".

Disconnect ceiling panel "1" from door seals. Carefully lower ceiling panel "1" with the help of the 2nd mechanic (danger of fracture).

Remove the ceiling panel through the opening in the trunk lid.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Before installation, check all fastening elements for damage and replace if necessary.
Check that the ceiling panel is within the edging of all door seals after installation.
Removal and installation the ceiling panel (Combi)
Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Remove the sun visor. Remove the upper part of the A-pillar trim. Remove the upper part of the B-pillar trim. Remove the C-pillar trim. Remove the D-pillar trims. Remove the roof grab handles. Remove the rear seat. Remove the rear seatback. Fold the front seatbacks back. Lower the steering wheel to the lowest position.
Cars with interior security system

Remove the front and rear interior light. Disconnect the storage compartment on the ceiling. Loosen the storage compartment frame screws (1.5 Nm). Disconnect the storage compartment frame, Disconnect the ceiling panel "2" at the rear and unlock the lock "1". Disconnect the ceiling panel "2" from the door seals, Carefully lower the ceiling panel "2" with the help of the 2nd mechanic (danger of fracture).
With the help of a 2nd mechanic, remove the ceiling panel through the trunk lid opening.
