Removal and installation the front seat (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Set the seat to the extreme forward position using the longitudinal adjustment mechanism. Unscrew the rear screws -1 to 3-. Move the seat to the extreme rear position using the longitudinal adjustment mechanism. Unscrew the front screws -2 and 4-. Remove the seat from the car.

Caution! If the seat is removed from the vehicle or is being transported, do not touch its hinged parts with your hands. These include the seat belt buckle, the longitudinal adjustment mechanism lever, the height adjustment mechanism lever and the seat trim. This must be followed to avoid damage.

Installation

Install the seat so that the centering pin "5" fits into the corresponding hole in the floor. Move the seat using the longitudinal adjustment mechanism to the rearmost position. Tighten the front screw "4" on the tunnel side (40 Nm). Tighten the front screw "2" on the threshold side (40 Nm). Install the seat using the longitudinal adjustment mechanism to the frontmost position. Tighten the rear screw "3" on the tunnel side (40 Nm). Tighten the rear screw "1" on the threshold side (40 Nm).

Attention! If the thread on the seat crossbar mounting plate is damaged during seat installation, repair of the damaged thread is prohibited! In this case, it is necessary to replace the seat crossbar mounting plate.
