
Note: When pressing out the joint, be aware of the risk of accidents: when releasing the joint pin, the ball joint puller "3287A" may fall, so place a board under the engine and gearbox lift, e.g. "V.A.G 1383A". To protect the thread, do not unscrew the ball joint nut completely, only so that the puller "3287A" can be installed.
Installation
Insert the ball joint pin into the hole in the steering knuckle. Observe the correct installation position. Screw in and tighten the new self-locking nut of the ball joint. Insert the drive shaft back into the hub. Tighten the nuts "arrows".

On vehicles with automatic headlight range control, connect the front left ground clearance sensor "G78" rod to the left suspension arm.
Note: Check the ball joint boot for damage or kinks.
