Removal and installation the triangular lever (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the wheel. Remove the noise-insulating casing. On a car with automatic headlight corrector, unscrew nut "1" of the left front ground clearance sensor "G78".



Unscrew the "arrow" nuts.



Unscrew the "arrow" bolts. Hold the rear nut on the upper side of the subframe with a wrench.



Turn the lever from the subframe "in the direction of the arrow" and remove it.

Installation

Installation is in reverse order. Insert the rear part of the lever "1" into the subframe.



Tighten the "arrow" bolts. Tighten, but do not tighten, the new rear silent block nut. Set the car to the position corresponding to the curb weight. Tighten the "arrow" lever bolts. If available, unscrew the connecting rod of the front left ground clearance sensor "G78" from the triangular lever (on the left side). Install the noise insulation casing. Install the wheel. Perform a test drive. Check the position of the steering wheel during the test drive.

Note: If the steering wheel is turned after a test drive in a straight-ahead direction, the wheel alignment must be adjusted.
