General description
KESSY System (Keyless Entry, Start and exit SYstem - keyless entry and engine start authorization system) allows you to unlock and lock the car, as well as start and stop the engine without a key. It is enough to have the key with you. The system includes a lock with a control unit for the electronic steering shaft lock "J764", which replaces the mechanical lock of the steering column shaft. The lock with the control unit for the electronic steering shaft lock "J764" generates commands to turn on/off contact S, which turns the ignition on/off (contact 15) and engine start/stop. The on-board power supply control unit "J519" converts these commands into signals for other vehicle components. In case of a complaint, it is necessary to know the operating principle and control of the KESSY system.

Control unit for access and engine start system "J518"
The control unit is located in vehicles with left and right steering wheel placement on the support of the heater and air conditioning module on the driver's side.
Remove the instrument cluster. Press the locking tab "arrow A" and remove the control unit "1" from the bracket "2" "arrow B". Unlock the bracket by folding it back and disconnect the connector "3".
Installation
Installation in reverse order. When replacing the control unit, code the new control unit using the Tester. The tester must be connected online. Check the functioning of the system as a whole.
