Check the clearance with the vehicle raised (the wheels are not loaded), moving the steering linkage rods and wheels. Required clearance value: no clearance. Check the fastening. Check the lip seals for damage (eg cracks) and the strength of the installation. If necessary, replace the tie rod end.
