Note: Do not remove the steering wheel. To remove the screws securing the lower trim of the steering column, turn the steering wheel 90°to the left and then to the right.
Remove the upper and lower steering column covers. Disconnect electrical connector -1-. Unlock retaining clips -2- and -3- in cutouts -arrows- of steering column lock housing -4-. inserting a watch screwdriver into it. If this operation is not possible due to tightness, make an auxiliary tool in the form of 2 wire hooks, as described below.
At the end of the welding wire with a diameter of 1 mm, bend the eye, and cut the wire to size -a-. Size -a- = approx. 50 mm. Grind the end of the wire until a flat point is obtained. Size -b- = approx. 5 mm. Pull the ignition and starter switch out of the steering column lock housing, watch screwdrivers / wire hooks must remain inserted in the housing when pulling out.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. Insert the ignition and starter switch into the steering column lock housing until it audibly engages.
Removing and installing ignition key lock magnet -N376-
Only for vehicles with automatic transmission.

Remove the upper and lower steering column covers. Unlock catch -arrow A- and remove ignition key lock magnet -2- -arrow B-. At the same time, disconnect the connector.
