The gearbox is removed. Remove the clutch.

Insert the stop -MP1-223 (3067)- into the hole in the cylinder block.

Place the flywheel stopper - MP1 "504" on the flywheel ring gear and turn the crankshaft so that the stopper rests on the "T30010" bushing.

Rotate the secondary side "A" of the dual mass flywheel so that the screws "B" are centered in the holes "see arrows".

Caution! When unscrewing screws "B", make sure that the screw heads do not remain on the secondary side -A- of the dual mass flywheel, as this may cause damage. Unscrew bolts "B" only with a hand tool. Do not use pneumatic or impact wrenches. When unscrewing bolts, make sure that their heads do not touch the flywheel. Turn flywheel "A" so that bolts "B" are positioned in the center of the holes "arrows".




Unscrew screws "B" and remove the dual mass flywheel.

Installation



Installation in reverse order.

Note: Use new screws for fastening.


Turn the secondary side "A" of the dual mass flywheel so that the screws -B- are in the center of the holes "see arrows".
  • 1. Tighten all "B" screws by hand.
  • 2. Tighten all screws "B" crosswise to a torque of 60 Nm.
  • 3. Tighten all screws "B" in a crosswise order by 90° (¼ turn).
