Caution! Do not open the air conditioning system refrigerant circuit.
Unscrew the air conditioning compressor "arrow" bolts.
Caution! Risk of damage to refrigerant pipes and hoses. Do not stretch, bend or kink refrigerant pipes and hoses.
Tie the air conditioning compressor with the refrigerant hoses connected to the side member. Disconnect the following electrical connectors.
1. Oil pressure sensor "F22" "2"
3. Low oil pressure sensor "F378" "4"
5. Control valve of oil nozzles for piston cooling "N522" "7"
Note: Item "6" can be ignored.
Remove the oil filter element. Unscrew the screw "1" of the dipstick guide tube. Release the guide tube from the mount on the upper timing chain cover "arrow". Pos. "2" can be ignored.
Release the wiring harness. Place the oil collection pan "VAS 6208" under the engine. Unscrew screws -1...5- and remove the auxiliary unit bracket from the coolant pump housing.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Replace bolts and screws that are tightened to the specified angle. Replace sealing rings and gaskets.
Wet the sealing ring "4" with coolant. Install the connecting pipe "2" into the cooling system pump housing "3". Slide the bracket of the attachment units "1" onto the connecting pipe, insert and tighten the screws.
Install the air conditioning compressor. Install the three-phase alternator. Install the poly V-belt. Fill with coolant. Install the oil filter and check the oil level.
